Awake in the Current ~ an adventure on the Mississippi River begins today. Two LSU students and two Ole Miss students will kayak down the river from northern Minnesota all the way to the Gulf delta in 60 days, and post daily youtube video updates to their website. Apple Computer donated a waterproof iPad2 to them for the documentation of their voyage.
These four men are making the trip to raise funds for the Gardere Community Christian School in Baton Rouge, LA and Interfaith Compassion Ministry in Oxford, MS
