Natchez, Mississippi Road Trip during the Christmas Holidays

We took a road trip to Natchez, Mississippi and had so much fun. The plantations homes, shopping, restaurants and people were all wonderful.

The plantation homes were decorated for Christmas with ornaments from the past and present. There are many old homes, buildings, and plantations in Natchez. Dunleith and Rosalie plantations were two that we visited.

Some of the restaurants we went to were Cotton Alley, Pastaio’s, Natchez Coffee Company, Fat Mamma’s Hot Tamales, and Pig Out. All were delicious.

Downtown Natchez was beautiful. For fudge, Darby’s on Main Street is amazing. They also have clothing, decor items, and all sorts of other things. Arts Natchez has an exhibit of chairs painted by local artists for sale in their Chair-ity exhibit.

If you are looking for a road trip with some great architectural site seeing and good food, Natchez is for you.
