The Fall Natchez Pilgrimage

The Fall Pilgrimage in Natchez is September 26 through October 10, 2009, “Hostesses in period costume welcome visitors to three mansions each morning and three or four each afternoon, plus three additional mansions open 9 to 5 daily – twenty-three historic houses in all.”

Natchez Mississippi also has Antebellum Mansion plantation homes open all year for tours. There are also bed and breakfast places to stay. Have a beer at Natchez Under the Hill and sit out on the porch looking at the Mississippi River, in a rocking chair at sunset. Step back in history and visit Natchez.

If you are traveling through Louisiana see LouisianaVacation.org for things to see and do, and places to eat and stay.
